The football icon, who is also a devoted father of three, turned heads during his debut as a Super Bowl broadcaster thanks to a sparkling watch bedecked with sapphires and diamonds. However, this luxurious accessory was not the only one he had on him that day. In a video shared on Tuesday, Brady revealed that he possessed another opulent timepiece worth a staggering $3 million before the big event in New Orleans. His 15-year-old son, Benjamin, even had the chance to try it on.
In the video, Brady prompts Benjamin to close his eyes and extend his wrist. “It feels shiny,” Benjamin exclaims as his father fastens the stunning watch around his arm. While details about this particular timepiece were limited, Jacob & Co. confirmed to Business Insider that it was indeed the Billionaire Mini Ashoka, which has a retail price of $3 million. Crafted from 18-carat white gold, it features antireflective sapphire crystal and is adorned with over 490 diamonds in various shapes, weighing a total of 100.57 carats. Notably, only 18 of these exclusive watches have been produced.
The “mini” watch that Brady showcased during the pregame broadcasts is even more valuable than the eye-catching piece he selected for the Super Bowl. For the game itself, he switched to a Caviar Tourbillon watch from the same brand, which retails for $740,000. This luxurious piece boasts 48.92 carats of sapphires and 1.32 carats of diamonds, resembling the aesthetic of shimmering caviar.
These spectacular items are just a few of the many watches Brady has retained after auctioning off 21 pieces from his extensive collection last December for an impressive $4.6 million.
Given the sheer opulence of both watches, it’s no wonder that Brady’s son was left nearly speechless when he tried on the extravagant jewelry, merely uttering a stunned, “Woah.”
